The issue was that Mike Gabler, who had been informed that his suitcase had been examined, told other players Elie had carried out the inspection.

That set off a series of events that resulted in Jeanine handing her idol to someone else, who then gave it to someone else, falling to the bottom of the rankings, and ultimately being eliminated.

For a player who had just a few days earlier believed she was on relatively firm ground, it was a crash and burn.

That explains why Shuri arranges the traditional coronation ceremony at the conclusion of the movie but then flees to allow M'Baku to assert his claim without opposition.

The day following her broadcast dismissal, we spoke with Jeanine and asked her a number of pressing concerns.

Going into Tribal, I was very aware of the fact that I was at the bottom, that my name was out there, and that I was essentially on the chopping block.

Again, I was fully aware that it would either be Ryan or I who would be returning home. Additionally, I did have some faith in Owen and Gabler's ability to cast a joint vote.
