After Jesse Williams requested an urgent custody hearing, his ex-wife Aryn Drake-Lee criticised the actor's parenting decisions on social media.
Williams would have had less custody time, according to a Los Angeles judge's decision in March, because he would be living in New York for his part in the Broadway show "Take Me Out."
Williams asserted in a court document this week that his ex-wife is preventing his kids from travelling back to New York for his second Broadway run.
According to the paperwork acquired by TMZ, the Broadway star said, "I recently agreed to appear in the second run of 'Take Me Out,' beginning in October 2022 and concluding in January 2023.
"The play is scheduled to premiere in October 2022 and continue at least through January 2023. Early in October, I'll be going back to New York to start rehearsing.
So that I can continue to spend meaningful time with our kids while I am in New York, I requested Aryn to abide by the court's previous order. Aryn declined.
