Star Trek Beyond is a 2016 American science action film written and produced by Justin Lin, written by Simon Pegg and Doug Jung and based on the TV series Star Trek created by Gene Roddenberry.
It’s the 13th film of the Star Trek franchise and the third installment of the reboot series following Star Trek (2009) and Star Trek Into Darkness (2013).
Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto reprise their characters in the roles of Captain James T. Kirk and Captain James T. Kirk and Commander Spock and Captain James T. Kirk, along with Pegg, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, John Cho and Anton Yelchin reprising their roles from earlier films. The film was Yelchin’s final films.

Beyond that, the trailers are promising father issues, the total loss of Enterprise and a shady plot devised by actor Idris Elba’s Krall to make all of our Federation heros to their knees. It’s not looking promising in the future of Uhura as well as Spock’s relationship…
