Batman movie has long been beloved by the general public as a superhero dating back to the original TV show that ran in the 1960s. In the cult Christopher Nolan Dark Knight trilogy, Batman has maintained his supremacy. Now, that tradition is expanding with Matt Reeves’s The Batman.
The latest addition to the franchise is famous actor Robert Pattinson as the main character. When the show was to be announced in May of 2019, there was a lot of buzz over whether Pattinson, the previously-known Twilightactor, could step into his dark, brooding role of Batman. Bat himself, however, with the film scheduled to be released soon, the doubt period is now over.
This is everything we’ve learned so far regarding the upcoming movie Batman, which includes the release date, trailer, casting, and much more.

Reviews are in for The Batman. What to read about the movie? is described as a nihilistic, dark crime drama, which is especially brave the director Matt Reeves’ blockbuster filmmaking and the relationship of Robert Pattison’s Bat and Zoe Kravitz’s Catwoman.
According to Rotten Tomatoes, The Batman has an 85 percent and was declared “Certified fresh.” Metacritic, a review site, has the film’s Batman rating of an acceptable 72.

Finding where Robert Pattison eventually falls in our most memorable Batman actor piece will be fascinating.
Who are the members of The Batman Movie cast?
Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, Christian Bale, and Ben Affleck have all donned the cowl to play the part of Batman. The most recent actor to play Bruce Wayne/Batman in Matt Reeves’ film is no other actor than Robert Pattinson.
Pattison is best known for his breakout performance in his role in the Twilight Twilight franchise. After becoming a teen star, Pattison has made exciting choices as a lead actor in films such as The Rover, Maps to the Stars, The Lost City of Z, Good Time, High Life, and The Lighthouse.
He made his big-budget debut as Christopher Nolan’s Tenet and is back in the lead role in a new franchise called The Batman.
Of course, it would not be a Batman film without Bruce Wayne’s trusted advisor/butler. For the movie Batman, Andy Serkis will play Alfred.
It will be the first time for Serkis and Reeves, who have previously worked together in the most recent Planet of the Apes films. As far as I know, Serkis will not be playing mo-cap as Alfred; however, it’s possible.
On Batman’s side is Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, the Gotham City commissioner most recently played by J.K. Simmons and Gary Oldman. Peter Sarsgaard is slated to be the district attorney Gil Colson.
The man may require any assistance that he can get since there are numerous famous Batman villains scheduled to make an appearance as villains in the film Batman. They include The Riddler, played by Paul Dano;
The Penguin, performed by Colin Farrell; Catwoman, played by Zoe Kravitz (though she’s more an unreliable ally), and Carmine Falcone, played by John Turturro. Barry Keoghan also appears as the unnamed Arkham prisoner that fans might immediately recognize.
We’ll soon see more or more of the characters from Batman. A Penguin spinoff show(opens in a new tab) is currently being ordered on HBO Max.
What is the way Batman connects to the bigger DC Universe?
Despite their greatest efforts (or, at the very least, their effort), Warner Bros. isn’t capable of creating the type of connected universe movies and characters as Marvel has in the MCU. They are now officially moving away from the Snyderverse (despite fans’ protests).
It seems it is intended to allow DC characters to stand alone with any possible crossovers happening through another technique that the MCU is also using called the multiverse (though this might not be the title DC will ultimately call it).
We already know this since the forthcoming The Flash film is the first experience of this new design strategy. Ezra Miller is reprising his role as The Flash from Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
In the film, he’ll be collaborating with Batman and a variety of Batmen; Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton have both been confirmed as actors as the main characters in The Flash.
According to our sources, Robert Pattinson’s version of the character isn’t officially confirmed as the character in In The Flash; however, there is speculation that it could, at the very minimum, confirm that all of the films are linked in some way to the DC Extended Universe.
Will The Batman be an Origin Story?
As per Director Matt Reeves, the story will be set during the 2nd year of Bruce Wayne’s tenure as Batman. This means we won’t witness the transformation of the youthful Bruce Wayne into the deadly Batman. The film focuses on an ongoing series of murders throughout Gotham City.
What Is The Batman Based On?
Many have speculated that the new film will be inspired by The comic-book collection The Long Halloween. It’s interesting that Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy also adapted elements from this comic but with major changes.
The origin storyline is based upon the series of murders that took place every month during an occasion, like Halloween. The comic’s first series is focused on Batman as a detective and mystery solver as well as a detective, a facet of Batman we’ve not seen until now in live-action films.
Long Halloween Long Halloweenalso has almost all of the most popular Batman villains, including famous characters like Joker, Riddler, Two-Face, Poison Ivy, Catwoman and other villains. There are plenty of chances for more than one film and many surprises in the near future.
